Team building trip
We had team building activity with Pipiras, kayaking and it was one hell of a ride! Service (picking us up, communicating information, providing additional services) was excellent! We encountered rainy weather and quitte an interesting river with dams - and it was perfect experience. Inventory is in a good shape and comfy. Amazing time

Superb "Stagtivity" on the Vilnelė
We used this company to arrange an adventurous kayaking tour as part of a stag do. We were not disappointed. No doubt the superb weather helped. The Pipiro Baidares guys met us, as arranged, by the river in the centre of Vilnus. We loaded into a minibus and were driven upstream. After a short description of the river etc. we were left to kayak at our own pace back down the river, stopping for a BBQ lunch and several beers at the riverside Belmontas Brewery (which I also highly recommend). All in all we took about 4.5 hours to reach the centre of Vilnius again, where the crew were waiting to meet us. For anyone wondering I wouldn't describe the conditions as particularly difficult, there are just certain points along the river where you might capsize or have to get out of the boats and walk the kayaks through the water to a deeper part. Nice kayaking trip if there's enough water
The surroundings are really beautiful. But the organization could have told us that the river was so shallow. We got stuck for like 50 times. It became really annoying. Every time you had to get out of the kayak and walk. You'll need watershoes for all the rocks on the bottom. I imagine it can be very nice, when there's enough water in the river.

Vermoeiende kajaktocht
We contacteerden de verantwoordelijk 's ochtends vroeg met de vraag of we in de namiddag nog konden gaan kajakken (de korte tocht). Hij zei dat dit kon en we om 15u naar de afgesproken plaats konden komen. Deze locatie zou hij dan per sms sturen. Na enkele uren was er nog steeds geen sms, dus we belden nogmaals. Hij was de sms vergeten sturen en enkele ogenblikken later ontvingen we een sms met gps-coördinaten. Daar aangekomen stonden enkel wat lege kajaks, zonder enige personen in de buurt. Toen kwam er een man met een bestelwagen aangereden die ons vertelde dat we op de verkeerde locatie stonden. Hij bracht ons naar de juiste locatie, waar we met een andere man in een andere bestelwagen stapten. Deze man zette ons af aan het startpunt en gaf kort wat uitleg en zei dat de tocht ongeveer 4 uur in beslag zou nemen. We begonnen aan de tocht, samen met nog 3 andere personen die we niet kenden. Door de extreem droge periode stonden de rivieren (Vilnia en Neris) erg laag en moesten we enorm vaak uitstappen om de kajak weer in het diepe te krijgen. Dit had de verantwoordelijke volgens mij op voorhand kunnen weten en meedelen. Hadden we dit geweten, we zouden er niet aan begonnen zijn. De tocht zelf was wel erg mooi en vrij lang, maar dus niet erg aangenaam om te doen. Al bij al dus wel een aanrader, maar de communicatie kan beter en ik zou ook wachten tot het water weer hoger staat en de rivieren dieper zijn.

Vilnius from different perspective
Not frist time going for Kaykas trip with Pipiro Baidares. Always finds a time and number of kayaks for our bigger groups. Justas always passionately explains main rules of kayaking as well as the upcomng road directions. No worries if you get stuck somewhere - you always have a phone number on life jackets that can be used for help (we used it and help came with super speed).
